Our exhālō mission is to spread joy through the power of touch! We believe in providing the best services and products possible, along with the highest levels of cleanliness, sterilization practices, and customer service. We focus on offering a warm, friendly, social environment where everyone is welcome and feels like they can simply exhale... because we've got you. Meaning of exhālō
The word exhālō is a unique creation and intentional play on the words exhale and halotherapy - commomly known as salt therapy. Our watercolour mandala logo was designed to center and calm the mind, with vivid blue tones inspired by the salty sea and air. Featured in the centre is the throat chakra, a symbol known as the center of purification where energy transforms. The throat chakra not only relates to the respiratory system, but also represents leadership, communication, and is considered voice of the body, thus all of our unique self care services are built surrounding our centered Salt Room and expert Dream Teams skills.
Our Facility
Our exhālō facility offers a relaxing Himalayan salt room to enjoy Halotherapy (dry salt therapy inhalation) for 1-2 persons, four treatment rooms for our luxurious Eminence Organic Spa face & body treatments along with waxing & sugaring services, four pedicure, and three manicure stations to suit group parties or individuals, Pinnacle Makeup artistry services, and AVEDA, So Pure Kuene & WELLA haircare & colour. Family Days are offered on Sundays for your little ones to accompany you if needed to best accomdate your self care needs, or to enjoy Mini self-care & beauty treatments themselves. We're also proud to be a carbon neutral salon, and not only recycle, but turn any waste into renewable green energy with help from our Canadian partner, Green Circle Salons.

What Is Halotherapy?
The term “Halotherapy” comes from the Greek word “halo”, which means salt. Halotherapy is a powerful, yet natural treatment created by a halogenerator that stimulates a natural salt cave microclimate. This dry salt vapor is antiviral and used in unique conjunction with our softly lit Himalayan salt bricks. This relaxing touchless treatment may ease respiratory ailments, skin conditions, and reduces symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression all while you relax and simply breathe. On Sundays, our Halotherapy room becomes a playful Salt Box complete with a little salty "sand" (Kanata location only). Parents can inhale the benefits of Salt Therapy alongside their children and even enjoy a mini spa day together. Every Sunday at both exhālō locations, children may enjoy Mini Spa or Hair service appointments, and breastfeeding Moms are also welcome for a little self care time with baby in tow.
